Free Trees For Philadelphians

Once again, the City, TD Bank and Fairmount Park Conservancy are giving away fruit and shade trees. They include apple, cornelian cherry, Santa Rosa plum, pagoda dogwood, honey locust, ironwood and staghorn sumac. Up to two trees per resident will be handed out while supplies last beginning April 1. Residents must register and the trees have to be planted on private property. For more details go to
